    Which 8800 Ultra?

    hello,

If I go with an 8800 Ultra for my new system, it'll be one of these:

    http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=534219

I think they are very similar in performance due to the ACS3 cooling on the EVGA, depite it being a GTX. In addition the EVGA is supposed to have a quieter cooling system, am I right?

    What do you guys think?

    Thanks in advance!

EVGA, its got a lifetime warranty and its also cheaper. there isnt any major differences between them apart from the brand name.

the EVGA also has the step up where you can upgrade, even though there isnt anything you can upgrade or would want to on an 8800 ultra

I think the Ultra is overkill. Why not just get the GTX and overclock it? Mine will do Ultra speeds anyway and nothing comes close to maxing it out even at stock.
