    Any problems with this build?

Hi i am putting a machine together for my mate in a few days and i wonder if anyone can spot any potential problems in the kit im thinking of using, im trying to come in under £500 he wants it to be vista compatible but does not play many games so really only needs it for the net, work and maybe some editing of film from his 'cam corder so pretty general stuff - hes insiting he wants speed as well (i think someone has mentioned duel core to him and now hes like a broken record! so i have put one in the build even tho he could make do with summat less but hey its his money). Software is already taken care off as well Anyways this is the system im thinking off.

    ASUS M2N-MX SOKET AM2
    AMD ATHLON 64 X2 4600 AM2
    PATRIOT 2GB KIT PC6400 800MHZ
    500GB SAMSUNG SATA2 16MB
    ANTEC NSK6000 BLK'/SILVER TOWER
    SEASON 430 S12 PSU
    LITEON DH-201P
    FLOPPY DRIVE
17" YURAKU TFT - THis is the only bit im unsure off really. Someone i know has built a few machines and says these monitors are fine and hes never had a problem, anyone else use them?

    Thanks

Could you add prices to everything please?

And where are you buying from - Aria?

EDIT: The only obvious thing is using PC6400 memory. Unless he plans on overclocking which by the looks of the motherboard, he doesn't, then go with PC5400 and save some green.

Also I'm thinking go for a 19" widescreen TFT for around £15 more, I'm guessing that 17" one is around £95?

    Check these out:

    - 19" Daewoo HL920W ~ £117.37

    - 19" LG L194WT ~ £125.00

Finally, are you sure intergrated graphics are suitable for the few games he does play?

Why not grab the antec 6500 instead. It has the psu in it and the antec psu's are great. Should save a few more quid.
