Temp monitor/fan speed thingy, worth it?

hello,

I promise this will be the last time I post about my PC.

I'm considering buying a Scythe Kama meter controller with my PC. However, the more I think about it, the more I say to myself, do I really need it? There are four thermal probes, and four fan rpm regulator things (I can't remember what they're called). I can only think of the VGA and CPU needing monitoring, and I think there is software to do this?

I'd get it for controlling my case fans but the real reason is because it looks so kool set to red with the black facia

I have one of these, and it's ok, but I don't really use it to control my fans, the only ones it's linked to are the CPU fan and a case fan. I just have them both set to min speed.
As for the temp sensors, they are always a few oC less than that of the software based ones as they can't read the temps at the center of the core of the CPU/GPU, but then they do give you a good idea for the temp whilst you are not able to run the software (in game for example).

The Kama meter is pretty good and looks nice enough. There is a slight delay when you adjust the fans, but thats no problem, and it doesnt mind running 3 or 4 lower powered fans (yate loons) from a single channel.
