    3400+ "EXTREMEOVERCLOCKING"

DD maze4 a64 block no mach II or chillers "YET"

    3400+ A64/mobo asus K8V A64 at 11x248mhz 1:1 2x256 kingston pc3200 hyperx "BH-5" sticks

hoping to max out at 2900mhz+ tommorow and break some records, but these chips rock can do 2400mhz at 1.5v stock all day on the DD maze4 WB

Very Impressive good luck with attempts on the records. I have to say the purists like me love to see kit outside of a case being worked on

hoping that I'll get mine in the next week, and can mod this vapo to fit, older model but should still be nice.

Nice, but the sandra bench seems pretty low for such a high clock... mines 29k/41k to your 19k/26k (My chip was at about 3.5ghz iirc).

Whats that got to do with anything? heh..

You are @ 2.7ghz though.... Just woulda thought ya score would be higher whats your arith score like? (Only synthetic benchmarks I know, but still a good way to compare).

my athr score makes a 4.2ghz p4 look bad put it that way...

it takes a 4300mhz+ P4 at 250+ on the fsb to compete here I know I own both setups...

I score higher at 2200mhz 220x10 on my first A64+nf3 mobo than 4400mhz intels where in 3dmark

I wasn't starting a INTEL VS AMD thread, just simply stating that your multi-media benchmark on sandra is pretty low Also theres not much point in comparing the two at the moment anyhow, wait till intels new chip arrives then compare!

new chip in ten days away, prescott that is, AND< its barely faster than a similar speed P4, if i was posting this on xtreme(sup mikey ) i'd sound likea broken record. But intel themselves ahve said the prescott 3.4Ghz won't be faster than the 3.2EE. Which is inbetween 5-20% faster than a 3.2P4 depending on app, but basically, its gonna be less than 15% faster at max, with a 7% clock speed advantage. IE cache is really teh only increase in clock per clock performance and sse3 is completely useless. time will tell but, can't see it being much faster at all.
