    Altec Lansing MX5021

    I am being a bit blond and cant figure out how to remove the sheilds on the Altec Lansing MX5021 speakers and woffer. Any ideas?

    is these some sort or catch I have to push, I cant see anything in the manual.

    seriously though i cant find anywhere that actually tells you... must be a real head slapper when you figure it out

    from the pic it looks like a plastic sleeve with the fabric on top of that, so bear it in mind when your figuring what to take off

    Since there are no holes on the front of the naked speaker, I suppose you should try sliding the cover off, either up or down.

    Sorry, I have no idea how ime ment to take these off, they dont slid off. I cant just pull it off because its tightly held on. They are my shiny new speakers.

    The shields are just a fabric mesh like tights over the speakers.
