Connect to wireless network BEFORE login?

I have a laptop and a PC, the laptop is running Vista Home Basic and the PC Vista Ultimate.

Well I tried setting the group policy on the laptop to make it wait for the network before login, but there is no GPEdit.msc

Does anyone know of a way to do this maybe by a reg key or service etc??? Thanks.

goto file-add/remove snap in, add-group policy object editor and OK the lot.
If that doesn't work I know there is a setting in intel's wireless drivers to connect before logging on. Its set through their software IIRC. Dunno about the rest though.
