Best 22" Widescreen Monitor

Just wondered what all you beautiful people think the best 22 inch LCD widescreen monitor is?

I was thinking of purchasing the LG one, as it does best stat wise, but there just words at the end of the day.

Has anyone had experience with this monitor, or any other 22 inch one.

I own it as well and it's brilliant. It's a "gaming" screen whatever that means so it's cheaper than "professional" ones. I was a bit worried about these descriptions but needn't have been. Excellent colours, bright screen, 22". Excellent!

Why is it so much more expensive?

because dell are money greedy people?? i dont really know to be honest. it cud be sumin simple like the base is metal so more expensive..

Or maybe bacause you cant measure how good a screen is using only contrast ratio and response time?
Myabe it has a better gamut.
Maybe the finish is better.
Maybe they are more reliable.

I couldn't agree more Badass, it is so difficult to actually judge how good a monitor is.

The best thing is to actually analyse the product of the competing monitors, ie, the image quality.

The only way to do this is to find a review.

Problem? There aren't any!!!

I can say that the hp 2207 is nice too, back light issues though please check on the lg if it has the same , then the HP wins !!

Extremely pleased with my Samsung 226BW. Stunning display, and comes in glossy black too

I paid £225 when it was on offer at PC World, but you may have to shop around to find a good price. The LG screen looks like the next best thing and I'm sure you won't be disappointed, especially at that price.

Reviews show its a decent screen, i have a 22"er and its amazing gogo
