    Cool Best 22" Widescreen Monitor

Just wondered what all you beautiful people think the best 22 inch LCD widescreen monitor is?

I was thinking of purchasing the LG one, as it does best stat wise, but there just words at the end of the day.

    http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=587955

Has anyone had experience with this monitor, or any other 22 inch one.
If so would love to hear from you, and your experiences with that monitor.

I own it as well and it's brilliant. It's a "gaming" screen whatever that means so it's cheaper than "professional" ones. I was a bit worried about these descriptions but needn't have been. Excellent colours, bright screen, 22". Excellent!

Or maybe bacause you cant measure how good a screen is using only contrast ratio and response time?
Myabe it has a better gamut.
    Maybe the finish is better.
    Maybe they are more reliable.

I couldn't agree more Badass, it is so difficult to actually judge how good a monitor is.

The best thing is to actually analyse the product of the competing monitors, ie, the image quality.

The only way to do this is to find a review.

    Problem? There aren't any!!!

Extremely pleased with my Samsung 226BW. Stunning display, and comes in glossy black too

I paid £225 when it was on offer at PC World, but you may have to shop around to find a good price. The LG screen looks like the next best thing and I'm sure you won't be disappointed, especially at that price.

    There's a review of 22in monitors here:

    http://www.pcpro.co.uk/labs/150/22in.../products.html

but it's from Feb this year so it's probably a bit out of date...
