The whole power supply thing is somewhat over-rated in my opinion, while it is important to have newer features like multiple 12v rails, the main thing is the manufacturer/oem and quality, that coolermaster one looks like it's of good quality and the 3 year warranty means it's not just some 'cheap' psu.

To everyone saying that any C2D/8800/2900 system needs a 500+ watt power supply, please have a read of this: http://www.overclockers.com/articles1452/

I have an HX520 and the most I can get my computer to draw from the plug is 330 watts, seems almost wasteful

Depending on its implementation, multiple rails can cause more problems than they solve

    No dont...especially not the Tagan.
The Seasonics are decent but thats poor value for money.

Should be ok, and ebuyer alternative is Hiper 580W Type-M at £52.29 (I'm sure they'll sjhout at me if it's not)
and the Hipers are even worse. Especially that model.

I think the igreen should be fine. The reviews seem to indicate it's a solid unit. Let us know how it is, might be worth a consideration for those on a budget build.

Im sure he will never let the age old 12V issue go (they used to have a bit of a low rail somtimes ), but all the newer ones seem fine. IMO they are very good PSU's
