    Crucial Memory

    Hey do any of you guys no why crucial ram prices have gone up about £10 - £15 i bought 1 set of this http://www.crucial.com/uk/ballistix/...2KIT12864AL804 a couple of weeks ago and was looking to buy some more?

    prices in memory in general seems to be going up. Alot of ppl have been predicting this as well. Your best buying asap to avoid any more dissapointment

    Sometimes you can haggle with them, especially if you saw the set on their own website and it was cheaper. If they give you the "memory prices are volatile" speech, swear at them coarsely and tell them you work for ocuk.

    Really though, its worth ringing up and trying. I emailed them, and they fobbed me off, so I rang and they fobbed me off, and I tried again later that day, and it worked. Saying that though, the price that I got it for, was actually more than they were selling it for by the time mine arrived

    May be its not worth the hassle just looked at invoice it will b a month tomorrow i thought it was less than that, mind you if i order now it will cost me £10 more, so no harm in trying £10 is £10 after all, thats a few pints im throwing away!

    They don't have any of the Tracers, but dabs have got the regular Ballistic DDR2-800 back in stock now at £68.72 inc VAT (2x1GB kit).

    yeah best doin that. also it's better to match up the set you currently have. your timings will be tighter!

    Generally true, although I thought in this case the only difference was the flashy LEDs and colour of the HS... otherwise they're identical.

    You could always spray 'em black
