Laptop CPU's

i have a toshiba sat pro L20 laptop with a intel celeron M 370 in it at the moment.

i keep fanciying putting a full pentium M in there, but i'm not sure where to get one, or which one.

according to CPUZ, its a socket 479, 400fsb.

i keep seeing various chips on ebay, but i dunno if i can trust what they describe and even if its gonna work.

anyone got any suggestions?

I think they're very difficult to pick up these days due to the age of them now.
Ebay would be my only suggestion..or buying a a dead laptop and hope its not due to the cpu lol

Depends on which chipset you have in the laptop. CPU-Z will be able to tell you:

Yes - it should be fine with a 400Mhz FSB Pentium M... I might even have one lying around (also a 725 - i.e. 1.6GHz with 2MB L2) it's untested though so will have to test it if you are interested.
