Intel Core2 Duo E6850, Asus P5K Deluxe, Air Cooling
Well this feels way better than christmas or anything else to me

This time i tried out the Coolaboratory Liquid Metal Thermal Paste. Have to say it was a pita to put on,
and i am not very happy with it. So please dont interpret too much in my current temps. I think in a
few days i will go back to good ol' Arctic Silver 5. Also it has been mentioned in other forums that
current software tools (CoreTemp, TAT etc.) do not accuratly measure temps of E6x50 series.
19° idle looks too nice to me to be true.
Here are some quick first screens:
My lovely Pentium i had until a few hours ago:

Now E6850 @ stock:

E6850 @ 9x370 = 3.3 GHz vCore Stock, RAM @ 920:

This already feels so good on stock settings compared to the P4, i am loving it already.
Gonna be a busy day for me, of course i am hoping for 4.0 GHz on my air cooling
Edit: 3.64 GHz 9x405 vCore 1.3625v, RAM @ 810 1:1

Edit2: My current maximum:
3.82 GHz 9x425, vCore 1.4750, RAM @ 850 1:1 2.10v
FSB Termination Voltage: 1.50v, Northbridge Voltage: 1.55v PCIE: 100 MHz
Transaction Booster, DRAM Static Read, Clock Over-Charge: AUTO

Someone mentioned on another forum that the current temp readings are very wrong,
something like -15° caused by wrong calculation, or w/e. Well based on that, i am a bit
scared to go any further than this. Current load temp reaches 50 for me, plus those 15 = 65.
Anyone know whats the max temp for G0? I dont want to up the vCore a lot more than this.
Very happy with the results so far, even at stock i love this cpu. I will do some other
benches now, and then start from scratch, following Clunk's oc guide.
Re: Finally got my E6850 (not ES)
Updated my RAM now to OCZ Platinum 'SLI-Ready' DDR2-1066 5-5-5-15 2x1GB.
Wanted to get Crucials first, but now they arent in stock anywhere here. And i know the SLI-Ready stuff is bollocks,
but those where at the same price as the normal OCZ but offer 5-5-5 instead of 5-6-6, so i went with the SLI ones.

1gb+ memread isnt that bad i guess, and <50ns at the same time.
Just a shame my cpu wont go above 3.91ghz. Would have been nice to have this ram with a 4ghz.
