    not a chance. A G0 maybe but not a B9.

The B9 i had was running 35-38 degrees idle and in the 50s under load at stock settings with a scythe ninja cooling it

Oh dear! Is there any slim low cooler that can cool a b9 quad for a 3.0ghz overclock.

    Thanks again for replies.

not really.. Thermalright 120 extreme or tuniq tower would be your best bets but i wouldn't count on it.

Re: 8800GTX and Micro ATX Case

Saw on a different forum a guy with a q6600 in a shuttle that had clocked it to just past 3.0ghz with a zalman and was about 70c on load which he said was fine - this an ok temp?

Re: 8800GTX and Micro ATX Case

yeah thats an ok temp but i wouldnt run mine at that. i dont think thats something to go by though..check out the quad core threads to see what i mean.

Water cooling produces similar results to that but not a low profile cooler..id be shocked if it could

I've still not decided between going with the sg03, or going with the tj08, do you think that the nt06 could handle the g0 quadcore if I getto modded a fan underneath it.

Re: 8800GTX and Micro ATX Case

you dont need a low profile cooler in either of those cases. And the nt06 comes with a fan doesnt it.. the "lite" version doesnt

something like the big typhoon should fit in there a treat
