    An8 ultra cpu question

    Hi all
    Currently running an opty 146 at 2500 now just noticed that i can run an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core cpu in there is, it a worthwhile upgrade?

    Depending on what you use your computer for I'd say so yeah.

    Scan have got some X2 4200+'s left for £58.62.

    Dual core won't help web surfing and word processing (although some people say Windows feels generally quicker but I can't decide if I agree with that) so if you're setup does what you need it to I'd just leave it be.
