    Santa Rosa and external monitor

I am having a problem that my samsung q45 (santa rosa with intel 3100 integrated gfx) and my lg 226wtq. It has loads of resolution options but not 1680x1050! I have updated the intel drivers but have had no luck. Any ideas?
