TBH it's more a stockings and suspenders thing - but I digress..

Tights are very fine (mmm) and yet allow some airflow so that the leg area (and other areas) of the lady in question's person remain sweat-free. Thus, I came the conclusion that secretly cutting up the missus' aforementioned undergarments would provide an adequate shield from this pest-y menace! One should note that adequate stretching of the undergarment must be implemented in order to allow a balance between the flow of air and the obstruction of Mr Thripy. Duck tape is useful in this regard, for it does not slip and holds everything nice and (mMmm) tight.

Violence and Lubrication is the solution to fixing everything, if it still doesn't work, you need more lubrication.

Perfect for stopping fish entering the back of your monitor.

They have no obligation to in my opinion, but Dell were replacing 2405FPWs last summer when invaded.

Personally I just live with my 2 dead friends - barely notice they're there (now nearly a year).

I had a couple in mine on Monday for the first time in 2 years. Waited until they got to the edge and tried to squash them but they were so deep I couldn't reach them. They eventually died the next day right in the middle, so took my monitor apart. That was a fun couple of hours. Found they got in between a couple of sheets of plastic just in front of the back light, but behind the "screen" itself. Now that I know what I am doing and since the operation was so successful, I reckon I could clear them in half hour if it happens again .

Quote the sale of goods act at them. Say the monitor is defective as it is not fit for purpose! It is the seller's (not the manufacturer's) responsibility to do something about it under the Sale of Goods Act.

This Act covers you for six years after purchase and covers you against defective products, or not fit for use products. Clearly insects are not supposed to go inside the monitor and thus it must be defective.

    Give them hell!!
    What etailer is it?

Good luck finding anything on the advertising that suggests it's a feature of the monitor not to allow insects in

the monitor is fine otherwise, perfect in fact. If there is some way to get rid of them myself I would do so. However I don't know of any way... tried shaking the monitor about and they don't move a mm lol.

I tried to buy 2x sata cables from there a couple of weeks ago, and I emailed to ask why the postage was £13, and I havent had an answer, I re-sent the email 3 times as well, so not a good sign.
