who maks the ezcool psu's ? , i had my second winpower 650w go down on me this morning . i just got the ezcool 700w psu (ps-1000) , but i cannot find the max rating for the combined 12v rail (2x 20a) . anybody know ?

i would look at a different power supply if i was you. 700w for £40? there not quality or there lying about the power output. get a seasonic or a tagen power supply.

You want to know the numbers (well ones they say it is) look on the sticker on the side/top, afaik they have to be on there.


EDIT: after a quick dig on google EZCool is a brand name owned by JSP-Tech

There is a nice little application with the ones on sale now that allow you to see the load / voltages ect. Direct from the PSU

There is a few reviews about, but all the ones ive seen so far are pretty crap and along the lines of "We plugged it in, it had a bloo fan, played a few games on it and it worked fine".
If anyone knows of any good reviews, feel free to post em

The 700w killed 3 hard drives, damaged my RAM, GPU and motherboard. Mine is just a paperweight now

LOL!.. That pretty much describes £40 700W PSUs down to a fine tea.

Seriously, if you don't want PSUs to blow up on you (and take your hardware with it) pay for a proper PSU. Chances are even 500W will be overkill for your rig if you do the math.

My guess is you'll be needing that 3 year warranty, although 12 months probably would have still been overkill as I wouldn't imagine it will last that long under anything approaching heavy load.

As others have said, you're far better off with a high quality 400Watt supply than a cheap 700Watt supply. Notice the ripple tests on their website are at "Full Load State 350W" - that's probably a more realistic indicator of it's true output capability, and trading standards would probably also like to look at their claims of it being "more stable than any other company's PSU".
