Multiple Raid Arrays on Mobos

I'm looking into upgrading and was wondering if the ICHxR based boards support more than one raid at a time, if so would they support say 3 at once, 1x Raid 0 and 2 x Raid 1 or something along those lines and of course as long as there are enough SATA ports for that particular controller.

Or from another perspective, does the controller allow you to have say a matrix raid setup of 1x raid 0 and 1x raid 1, and then use the 2 other SATA ports for a raid 1 array?

My Gigabyte DS4 Intel controller will do this. Can have multiple RAID and "normal" disks at the same time.

You can do the matrix thing, have a search for it on here, there have been a few threads recently where it has been mentioned :)

heres a pic. you can use the other 3 ports to setup another array or 3 non raid drives or a mix of both
