Sorry for this slight thread hijack but can the new 1333 FSB processors run at 1033mhz? It's just that I'm getting the Asus P5B Deluxe/WiFi-AP which only supports 1033mhz without a BIOS update so I would need to be able to use the new CPU at a lower FSB to update the BIOS.
Yup, of course you can. 1333FSB is the frequency Intel designed it to run as, but you're free to move it up and down as you wish. You may want to update that BIOS anyway however, you may hit snags here or there otherwise, Asus have nifty BIOS update features. :)
