    new case - which fans?!

I have just got and installed my system into a thermaltake mozart tx (which i got for £50 off the 'bay), and the stock fans are a little loud, so i need around 8 of the 120mm fans, but which, im not sure.

    thanks.

8x 120mm fans?? Wow that must be some crazy ass case, and some serious ventilation!!

You'll probably want to have a look at the sharkoon golfballs 1000 120mm.
I've heard great reviews, just bought one myself, but not tested yet.

The TT Mozart TX can take up to 11 fans iirc. Get some Yate Loons, ask Clunk, I think he has a few boxes load under his bed.

Another vote for the 120mm Sharkoon 1000's but out of interest, which Yate Loons are considered to be the best?

Read some reviews over at www.silentpcreview.com
I recommend getting some Nexus 120mm, they are not really expensive (12,90 Euro here), especially
when you need a lot of them. They are modified versions of the Yate-Loons. Possibly the "best" 120mm
fans around, if you want it quiet. Two colors available, the classic orange, or black/white.

You could also try looking for some Vantec 'Stealth' fans off fleabay or some european etailer, it's the best fan I've ever had.

What other fans have you tried? Reason why I ask is because the 'Stealth' compared to other quiet fans is noisy (user opinions).

My recommendation for quiet fan is the NorthQ Nano Ceramic Bearing fan from Scan - it's the quietest fan I have (comparing to Globalwin NCB, Nexus Orange, Sharkoon 1000, Yate Loon D12SL).

Antec tricool, akasa ambers, coolermasters to name but a few.. the stealths have been the better of the bunch priceerformance IMHO, 4 years on and it's still going in my new machine.
