E4300 vs E6750 for gaming rig

With price of this chip being quite cheap would it be a massive improvement over an e4300 for gaming? Would it be worth it?

I have overclocked my e4300 to 3.1 ghz with 6400 ram. How far could you overclock the e6750 with this ram.

no its not worth it imo.

There were some tests that compared Core2s with different cache sizes (1mb v 2mb v 4mb), and the performance gain in games was quite weak. Go get a beer instead

You wont even notice the difference.
Games are SOOOOO GPU based nowadays anyway. The only time you would notice is if you had a cracking GPU with a poor CPU that would bottleneck it.
