With price of this chip being quite cheap would it be a massive improvement over an e4300 for gaming? Would it be worth it?
I have overclocked my e4300 to 3.1 ghz with 6400 ram. How far could you overclock the e6750 with this ram.

no its not worth it imo.
Do you struggle at 3.1GHz? ..(i know the answer)
There were some tests that compared Core2s with different cache sizes (1mb v 2mb v 4mb), and the performance gain in games was quite weak. Go get a beer instead :P
