SCSI NAS Box - Know where to buy one?

Just spent the last 2 hours goggling and come up empty handed....

I am looking for a 4 to 6 bay SCA SCSI NAS box, RAID preferably but would also consider a JBOD system.

It must accept 80 pin SCA SCSI drives, be gigabit and would be a bonus if it had firewire/USB/eSATA connectivity, it has to be a bare unit as I have a pile of drives to use

fleabay is probably your best bet, SAS has practically relegated SCSI into the history books, so manufacturers aren't bothering with it much these days.

Yeah, I have googled so many terms its silly and still not found one.

The closest I came was one that did 68 pin drives, still not found one for 80 pin devices, which seems silly as they are hot-swappable =/

Nothing on EBay either.......Was thinking of building a small PC to house these drives in (6 x 300GB 10K SCA SCSI) but I don't want another PC, a small box would have been ideal

I don't know if this helps or not, but there are loads of second hand server parts on eBay. Look for something like a ProLiant drive bay - some are hot-swappable, and some just take bare drives and you manually plug the cable in. The only problem with these is getting the drive rails and/or drive cages to suit the back plane of the drive bay. but I have done this succesfully in the past. Getting power to it should be simple, and I'm guessing you already have an SCA cable?
