    XFI Users

Got a bit of a problem with my XFi Music Extreme.

When I set it to 4/4.1 when you turn the volume down it only effects the front speakers and the rears carry on playing as normal, bit odd as I didnt have this problem before i reinstalled, even using the same drivers as last time....

I have a weird problem when playing movies..the music plays loudly buy i can hardly hear the voices...that's after trying all modes and I haven't touched the drivers. Worked fine a few days ago and this problem started for no apparent reason.
Gonna try a driver reinstall later.

    Whats your speaker setup mate?
Thats a common issue when people set the speakers to 4.1 / 5.1 / ect.. and dont have a dedicated centre speaker in their setup

Make sure the speaker setup in the control panel matches the one in the creative labs utility.

Hi Agent, it's a 5.1 setup and it's all setup fine and dandy in XP so I'm not sure why the weirdness has suddenly started. (i have a centre speaker on my zxr-550 speakers). Odd.
