    CPU Cooler Nightmare

    Hi,

I have been trying to find a CPU cooler that will fit on the Asus P5K3 motherboard, becasue the CPU area is surrounded by heatpipes this is prooving to be dificult.

I did have an Arctic Freezer Pro 7 mounted on it but noticed it is catching the heatpipes around the CPU area and not sitting on the CPU correctly so am now looking for an alternative.

I have here an Asus Silent Square Pro which also does not fit if mounted in the correct direction as the mounting bracket will not fit. If I was to mount this so the fan was blowing up towards the top of the case (P182) it would fit perfectly but will be drawing air from over my 8800 Ultra so probably not a good idea.

So I need to find something that will mount on this board and nice and secuerly as the PC may need to be moved from time to time.

Drawing air from over the ultra shouldn't be a problem, as the fan on the back of the case will be drawing air from the from the front of the case towards the cpu.
