    fast motherboard to host qx680 for gaming

    any suggestions what to pair with a QX6850 guys, what motherboard and what memory ddr3 or ddr2 and which brand memory? thanx

    P5k deluxe, especially if you plan on overclocking.

    I wouldnt bother with ddr3 just yet.

    Currently, the Crucial Ballistix seem to be the best bang for buck/overclocking/mentalist RAM.

    Nforce 680i supports 1333MHz FSB too. Overclocks very well. Not much difference between most mobos really. The 680i is DDR2 only and I wouldn't bother with DDR3 for a long while yet. Corsair are v good. Differences are pretty minimal between RAM too. Faster speeds give better performance than low timings.
