They're nothing special but it's the best dx10 support you will get in the price range.
After a bit of reading it seems that the X1950 range is the best bet for the money?

X1950 and a 7900/7950 are the ones to buy in that price range. Forget the 8600 and 8400 cards if you're talking about gaming
