    Asus P5B and Akasa Zen case fans - Help !

    Just putting a new system together for my son, with the Akasa Zen case and the Asus P5B case.

    The case fans dont work - am I missing something blindingly obvious ? I'm no novice and know my way around

    how have you conneced them? I made this combination for a friend and they worked fine?

    Connected to the std CHA terminals... and I've since connected a voltmeter to the terminals and there is no 12v !

    Front fan is currently disconnected and rear is connected to the Power Fan.

    I've taken the usual precautions and am always very careful, but it looks like the Chassis fan connectors are duff. Too much effort to send the mobo back, so I'll just get a 12v Molex adaptor and stick that in.

    Turns out the GFX card (a big fat non working properly 8800GS from EVGA) is faulty too, so the mobo is going back for replacement and a refund for the 8800. He's not appy

    At least you have the luxery of sending it back!

    I have potential problems but the threat of being without a pc for a few days is putting me off sending anything back...worrying isnt it
