Sound Deadening Foam

Does anyone know anywhere to buy this cheap? For lining a PC case to make it quiet.

ebay under sound proofing, sound insulation, sound deadening and dynamat to give you some ideas.

PC kits seem to cost more, and the stuff for cars is just as good if not better.

Best place to look for advice is on silentpcreview.com. Quite a few tips on what to use etc.

I think people have used carpet tiles, but not sure about underlay. I wouldn't risk it.

Scan sell Acoustipack which is supposed to be the best solution compared to other ready made solutions.

You can get stuff from scan for less than £10, dunno how good it is but might be worth a try.

eclipse-computers sell it cheap by the sheet, can't comment on how well any of it works though.

i placed an order for aload before christmas and it seems then couldn't get hold of what i ordered (12mm sheets) and it still looks that way on there site so you might want to give them a ring and findout.

i ended up canceling the order after waiting about 3weeks and just bought a p180

I have a huge 2" thick sheet of that stuff here - egg carton profiled sound deadening foam. Not sure how you'd ship the stuff though!
