OCUK are selling G0 at a premium.

Yeah but no stock...
Apparently, "Do whatever you like" should NOT be considered authorisation to build my uber rig!
Ill bet theres a hell of a lot of the old stock left to clear first.

I've gone for the Q6700. G0 guarenteed and 2.66GHz cores in a 95w TDP should mean pretty good quality dice.
Twice the price though isnt it?
Ca ne fait rien.
Besides lower power consumption does G0 offer anything else?
Supposedly better overclockers, although because of speed binning this may show itself more in the higher end models (E6850 and QX6850).
The lower TDP for the Q6600 and Q6700 suggests they could also benefit from this, a Q6700 would have to be able to reach 2.66GHz with an average TDP of 47.5w per die, where as a E6700/6750's die would only have to be within the 65w TDP.
For the Core 2 Duo's you get the C2E state enabled, and the C1E power usage is down from 12w to 8w. The specifications on http://processorfinder.intel.com do not mention these for the Kentsfield based parts however.
