If that was a reference for me IIRC it was a much meatier sytem.
It was more of a case in the other thread of get what you can for your budget.....there isnt anything wrong with that if the system warrants it.

It was more in reference to the constant over rating of PSU's that are needed by people on here, not aimed towards you, no.

The Corsair 520watt is a very good choice. Its easily in your budget at about £70. If not then try to get psu from a reputable company such as OCZ, Seasonic, Hiper, Coolermaster, Antec, Tagan etc

Blitzen, when I wrote the above I admit I did not know his system specs, so I just recommended a good quality psu within his budget. I could have suggested a OCZ GameXStream 700W PSU, which also falls within his budget but that would most likely be definitely OTT.

Setting a budget marks the range you don't want to go over, no point paying twice as much for something you don't need when you can get a product that does what you require for half your budget.

Got a new question, and seeing how this thread is still semi-alive I dont see any reasons making a new topic. No PSU question this time though..

Just bought 1Gb RAM (PC2700) And when trying to get it in its socket it appears too be too big. I can get the end in the socket (though not completely) and the middle of the stick doesnt seem to be able to get in the socket. (Yes I am trying to get it in the right way). Could it be too long? :S

According to a Hexus review my mobo supports PC2700, which I bought. And I dont think there are DDR2 sticks of PC2700?

Edit: seeing how a DDR2 stick wouldnt fit in at all, Its a DDR1 stick, thats for sure

Edit2: The new stick and the old one thats currently in place are both the same in length, just checked

You're right on the PC2700 thing - Always worth checking though

If you say its the middle which wont go in, the only thing I can think of is checking that its in the right way, but you said you'd checked this.

Edit: Ok... gonna be either a HDD, graphics card OR monitor failure, and I dont have any extra monitors to test it with except for this one. (Dont think my mom likes it if I use her stuff =P)
