Thanks for all the input guys, I'll have a look at the Corsair. My current PSU already has rounded sheathed cables, but there are so many of them it's ridiculous. I do use rounded IDE cables, which have helped, but the modular PSU seems a logical thing to use.

Corsair 620w here. Love it.

Only issue is that theres little point it being modular because I have all the cables plugged into it anyway I like it though. Its quiet and reliable.

26A combined 12v current vs 40A on the Corsair.

Corsair HX520 £62

His system specs list a 9800Pro and xp3200+
So the tagan should be more than enough and £10 cheaper

That said the corsair will be better for future upgrades


EDIT: and the 620w corsair is sooooo overkill for his specs it's stupid.
