CPU: E6750
Memory: 2GB (2x1GB) CorsairTwinX XMS2, DDR2 PC2-6400 (800)
HDD: 500GB Seagate 7200.10
GPU: BFG 8800GTS 640MB
Monitor: Samsung 20" (206BW) Widescreen
CPU-Heatsink: Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme
Fans: 2 x Xilence 120mm fans
I hope the components I've chose will last me a while, input is welcome!

Everything's fine and dandy, maybe worth considering Asus P5K Deluxe or abit IP35 Pro motherboards, and I think Crucial Ballistix RAM is cheaper and overclocks very well.
those fans arent supposed to be that great.
Everything else looks good though

Either go for the GTX, 2900xt or the 320mb version of this card... the extra 320MB has been proved to make very little difference now the new drivers are out.
Could put the money u save from the graphics card into a bigger monitor
Yeah go for thermaltake, sharkoon or yate loon fans
depends how quick you're looking to purchase. Define how close the future is.

Last i checked (yesterday) there was a €100/£70 difference between e6750 and q6600. With the shortage of quad enabled apps, that difference made up my mind

What's the warranty on the samsungs then? Seagate is 5 years.
