pc5300/5400 is the bare minimum the chip will run with.

800Mhz would be useful for overclocking.

You could, but as said above 6400 or higher is best.

You can pick up 2GB of Geil 6400 for around £70 new these days.

I run exactly that - an E6750 and 2gb of 667MHz memory. I dont have any compatability problems if thats what you wanted to know. If you're not on a tight budget though, follow the advice above.

I was just looking in to this. DDR-667mhz is just fine.
