q6600 g0 owners - what is your min. stable vcore @ 9x333?
Topic says it all. I'm only interested in your vcore @ 9x333 if you own a g0 Q6600 and you minimized the vcore and if it's stable to 2x orthos or prime95 v25.3 for over say 4 hours. It would also be cool to see your VID as reported in coretemp. So I guess I'd like to see two things:
1) Your minimized vcore @ 9x333 (g0 q6600)
2) A screenshot of Coretemp under load to see your VID and temps
Thanks in advance!

hey.
not sure if this applies but im at 9x333 but have a b3 q6600 and i managed to get vcore at 1.25 as said in bios, but on desktop it reports 1.2240 volts according to ai suite.
temps in coretemp at IDLE is:
40
40
39
40
will test under load if u want them?

@prits: thanks for the information. Is that 1.25V in the BIOS stable to 2x orthos for several hours? Also, what is the VID reported in coretemp? I have a B3 that runs 9x333 @ 1.2625V in the BIOS and it's VID in coretemp is 1.2875V.
Thanks!

actually my reported an error in p95 after 20 mins.
so upped it to 1.2625 in bios as well. its stable now.
mines at 333x9 as well... and its 1.2875 VID in coretemp too.

Interesting that they're more or less the same. What cooling do you have, what is room temp and what are you load temps (like at least 10 min of prime95)?
Re: q6600 g0 owners - what is your min. stable vcore @ 9x333?
i have a zalman 9700 NT
wid some AS5 on it :) room temp i really dont kno. average i guess? my mobo is at 32 degrees as reported by ai suite.
i think if i remember correctly that at full load after an hour on p95 it was 58 ish...
hw about u?
Re: q6600 g0 owners - what is your min. stable vcore @ 9x333?
room temp is 73 °F, load temps are 59,59,58,58 when the vore core is 1.2350v and the settings are 9x328. About 62,62,61,61 @ 9x333 @ 1.2625v.

Why do room temp in Farenheit and CPU temps in Centigrade?

oh wow at 9x333 your about 3-4 degrees hotter than me under load.
it might just be because i have a better cpu fan and case cooling?

But most of the rest of the world doesnt, and this is a UK based board, so will lead to confusing results. :p
If you must use Farenheit, why not use Farenheit for both then?

now now ladies..
but your handbags away :P
Re: q6600 g0 owners - what is your min. stable vcore @ 9x333?
@clunk - it doesn't really matter if the units are like. The math corrects that (graphing multiple core temps vs. room temps). Anyway, I'm still trying to rationalize getting a G0 and selling my B3. At best I think it'll gain my a 10 % speed increase which is a pretty wasteful trade off given the $300 price tag.

It's taken me years to get used to using C to describe room temps, and you can't get more Britisher than wot I am.
