Looks fine, what made you change the monitor to the video seven?
Its a 20" widescreen, Thorsson said i should check em out. No good? It was only a tenner more than the Phillips and with the money i saved by using Scans and you guys suggestions, i could get it!
A 20" widescreen should have a 1680x1050 resolution. This is the cheapest on Scan and is from a reputable manufacturer:

Or for a bit more money there's this nice 22":

If you get 9 more posts, you qualify for Scan's free delivery deal, which may give you some more money to put towards a monitor...
^cheers for the info man! I'll go for that first one you suggested, with the free P+P and that monitor, it takes my total to £993.78 from the old total with the old monitor and P+P of £986.22. Not too shabby eh!
Yeah thats a nice build you got.
Sorry to throw things back into the air but i saw this today.

Made me think, why bother with a quad now when this is going to be just after christmas at about the same time as games that use ti will really come into play. Personally if i was doing a build then i would get a cheaper dualcore (such as 6750) and then upgrade after christmas (when you get ur loan  )
I can safely say, that i have no idea what those new processors are all about! Wanna give me the low-down in dumb dumb language?
Btw its quite embarrassing to think i just got my A-level results and i got an A in computing haha.
Also if i were to buy that P5K, would it support the new processor? Also,am i right in saying that the P35-E doesnt have DDR3 support, so its worth investing in a better mobo?
