acer 8202 wont charge

Hi i have a acer 8202 wlmi laptop and recently the battery doesnt charge anymore. it remains on 3% all the time dispite leaving the AC on it all night.. i dont know if its the battery or not. the laptop works when i connect the AC into it but has soon as i disconnect it the laptop automaticly shuts down.


any advice please? thanks

I'd suspect that the battery has been over-charged, or run for long periods with it plugged into the mains. Unfortunately there's not a lot you can do to rectify it now other than get a replacement battery.

edit: i have just gave acer a call and they quoting a price of over £200 for the battery and shipping!!!!! does anybody know how reliable the website above is?

for £70 i on that website i might as well purchase it from their.
