What mice do people use?

I've had a MS intellimouse for god knows how long. I use it just for a change when get tired of my MX1000 which I've had for 3 years +.

If I were you I'd start going around peoples desks and the stores and simply putting my hand on the mice to see what you like.

Logitech G7, this is probably the best mouse I have ever used but….battery life sucks. I suppose that’s why they gave two batteries with it. However it does get annoying when you’re playing an fps online and suddenly the mouse dies and you have to change the battery, by which time someone has already killed you.

Beside that its a very good mouse.

I'm liking the look of the MX1000 even though its a few years old now, and a lot of you seem to get on very well with it. I also like iranu's idea of going to shops and just trying out what fits my hand well, so cheers for that!

Im using my old intellimouse optical 5 button...lasted me about 7 years i think...i love it!

razer diamondback - excellent mouse, requires the reg tweaks to get the buttons to function how you want. but a superb mouse.

Have you tried the new set of drivers? certainly gave me full XP64 functionality compared to the release drivers.

I've never really liked the shape of the majority of the Logitechs I've tried (a local store used to have plenty) but it was definitely good advice to try as many as you can before buying. One of the reasons I went for a Habu was because it had something of the feel of an Intellimouse which also seems to suit my hands (I've got quite large hands) plus I've never got on with wireless mice at all.

Looks nice. With the detachable side panel I could probably do what i've always wanted; positioning the two buttons one on top of another so the thumb rests on the lower button. The Blue leds would match all the other black finish and blue led crap I have.

MS Intellimouse 3.0 wired. Over 8 years old and still perfect !

I need a high body to avoid tendonitis and this one is spot on.
