dell Vostro?

Hello,
i was reading in a thread aabout two days ago reccomending someone to buy a dell vostro laptop.
it seems a better deal than the laptops in the home section even with the dreaded VAT added.
also i read this link
it says that it comes with no trial ware installed.
can a home user buy a vostro from the small business section?
because the only thing that put me off a dell laptop was rubbish installed.
or if i cant maybe dell laptops in the home user section will come without trialware at some point...

Just ordered one yesterday from the small business section, and it's all gone through fine. Filling in the organisation is optional when ordering.

All dell whether business or home come with trialware, you just uninstall them when you receive it.

I don't know if a homeuser can buy from the business section, but it is basically the same lappy, with diff colours and os bundle. It's a good buy for the price.

nope the vostro can be configured without any bloatware.. its what the model is all about.

you can also do a fresh install in about half an hour and then you have the choice what software is installed.

does the vostro come with a windows cd or recovery partition?

comes with the CD dell dont do that recovery partition rubbish..hopefully they never will
