Yes they will, but 965 and 975 won't unless I'm mistaken.
P35 will, mixed reports about 965/975, so will have to wait and see for that.
I believe there are some P965 variants that do support the 1333FSB chips, such as the later revisions of Gigabyte's P965 boards, but as a rule P35 is the platform of choice now to ensure you can run all the latest / future Intel chips.

I run my QuadGT at 1333MHz FSB just fine at the moment with an E4300. Will this alone allow me to possibly use Penryns in the future, or are there other things to consider (BIOS updates etc.)?

abit stick to NDAs so won't comment on CPU compatability until the CPU is launched.
I think that there's a pretty fair chance that the QuadGT will though.

I won't be upgrading for a while, but it's good to know the option might be there. Chances are by the time I do upgrade, DDR3 will be the norm so will need a new MB anyway.
1333MHz FSB is not enough to support Penryn. Boards also should have CPU voltage regulator as of Intel's VRM 11 standarts.
You would probably need a 1333 bootstrap as well. A lot of older boards have been updated with the bootstrap though........Asus even have a list
