[GSV]Trig - have you tried taking some RAM out or the floppy drive to see if that makes a difference

Even my Eclipse (Aluminium) is a bit on the heavy with minimal components inside. The P180 (obviously) is heavier.

I'm ditching 4 of the hard drives soon when/if I get a NAS box, or I might just build up a server to stick them into...

Not sure how heavy my case is but I just poped my PC on a set of bathroom scales.

Cannot get the scales under my old 19" crt easily (as I'm useing it while I wait for my tft rma) but it does bend the top of this computer desk.

My PC is not heavy thanks to a lightweight case. But I use to have a 21" CRT. Now that mother was heavy.

Mine is stupidly heavy, and if it was to roll off the desk, it could easily kill a Chihuahua, or Pygmy.

I had the luxury of handling a HP ProLiant DL380 G4 before and it was F****** heavy.

My Eclipse 62 with 12 HDDs weights over 20kg and if it wasn't the wheels it would be hell to move on a carpet *under the table*

I think all computer cases should come with wheels :S My P180 doesn't

I haven't had a computer on my desk since I gave up on the "desktop" case (which was many moons ago). Does anyone, and why?

The P180 alone weight a good bit. That's one of the reason I am on the fence. I am sure that I'd appreciate the silence, but if I move in the next couple of months, it's going to be a pain. That said, I have a 21" CRT which weight ~30kg.
