    sep psu for gfx

    would this be better than buying a better single psu?
    and has anyone used it?

    No, just buy a better PSU.
    You can get a good PSU for 50 quid.

    This purely depends on what setup you have now. But anyway this offer is expensive one and if using one of those please do remember to plug both PSUs in single wall socket kit prefferably sharing the ground.
    As agent sad it may really be a lot better thign to get a better PSU by buying a good one and selling you existing one to spare some cash.

    The FSP 500W psu is under £50 at Scan (I think)

    Would be good combined with an older decent PSU (back from when the +12v wasn't so important) if it was cheaper.

    Currently you could buy a 2nd good PSU for less and use that to power the graphics card

    There is no system that would actually need one of these units (bar a quad/tripple SLI/Crossfire 8800/2900 system), and the price really isn't great. Get a better normal PSU.
