Someone left a note on a piece of cake in the fridge that said, "Do not eat!". I ate the cake and left a note saying, "Yuck, who the hell eats paper ?

You probably don't NEED SLi .. i have it avaliable and don't use it as a single 8800GTS is crazy good.

    Try this.

    Abit IP-35 / pro
    2GB Crucial Ballistix pc6400 (£80)
    Intel q6600 (G0 stepping)
    8800GTX
500gb Hard Drive (Western Digital / Samsung)
    Antec p182
    Scythe Ninja Rev B
Decent Sound Card (not up on current models)

2x LG 22" (cant remember the model)

    Should come in around budget.

Auzentech XFI for sound card. All the features of the creative varient but with decent build quality. You also get Dolby Digital Live which processes the various 5.1/7.1 channels into a single digital signal allowing you to connect to an amp/reciever via digital and remain in 5.1/7.1 whatever your endevours may be
