Question adjustable aspect ratio on monitors.

I'm looking for preferably a 22" widescreen monitor that has an adjustable aspect ratio. Widescreen monitors have an aspect ratio of 16:10 but I use my Xbox 360 on my monitor and that will be no good as 360 games are 16:9 so on a 16:10 screen the image will be slightly stretched vertically. I was wondering if there are any monitors where you can adjust the aspect ratio, a HDTV is too expensive and the resolution isn't high enough for PC use so this is the next best option.

I think you are refering to 1:1 pixel mapping when you say adjustable aspect ratio. I do not believe any of the current 22" TN panels do that, You would need to get a Dell 2407 or one of the other 24" panels.

Re: adjustable aspect ratio on monitors.

My Dell 2005FPW has 3 scaling options; 1:1, Fill or Aspect.

The Dell 22" doesn't appear to have this feature

    I'd suggest the nicer 2407WFP-HC

Re: adjustable aspect ratio on monitors.

The Dell 2407WFP-HC looks awesome with both a Xbox 360 and the PS3 If you don't have the space or the money for a full HDTV and it helps keep the clutter down as you can have the pc and the console all in the same area.
