Another Barton 2500 Thread :)

I picked up a week 39 Barton yesterday 0339.

What do we reckon on this being locked?

Mine arrived yesterday... week 46 (0346) :(

last week i bought a week 28 from planet micro (pc centre) in Altrincham - couldn't believe my luck! (although havn't tried overclocking yet!)

AFAIK there just locked multiplier side, which suits me cos u can just ram the FSB upto 400 from 333, works on my old one which sits at XP3200c 24/7 :)

I think they were *all* locked after week 40, but AFAIK some were locked before that around that time. Only way to know is to try it out I guess..

Well annoying, as the one I got was a week 40! D'oh!

I may up the FSB to 400 to run the 3200 Twinmoss I have in spec but I aint gonna do owt drastic as its just for a server :)
