Question Need help choosing a mobo

I'm building a new PC and the company I'm going through offers these motherboards; I was ondering which is the best buy.

    EVGA nForce 680i SLI Chipset LGA775 FSB1333 DDR2 Mainboard
    MSI P6N SLI-FI nForce 650i SLI Chipset LGA775 FSB1333 DDR2 Mainboard
    Asus P5N-E nForce 650i SLI Chipset LGA775 FSB1333 DDR2 Mainboard
    Asus P5N32-E nForce 680i SLI Chipset LGA775 FSB1333 DDR2 Mainboard

I left off the two mobos that are out of my price range (one was the Asus Striker Extreme nForce 680i SLI, the other was the MSI P6N Diamond nForce 680i SLI). These are a bit out of my price range; I wouldn't consider them without a really good reason...

I plan on using a Intel Q6600 processor that I plan on overclocking to 3.0 GHz, an 8800 GT (eventually 2 of them), etc. Which mobo would you guys suggest of the ones above?

Re: Need help choosing a mobo

Of that lot i'd go with the EVGA. It's a very nice board, great warranty and very good support. I have one and it overclocks very nicely

Never really use MSI for my builds.. no good reason why really, I just don't like them.

Asus support is shocking and it always seems to be the Asus nforce boards which suffer the most with problems..maybe it because more of them get bought though.

On NewEgg, I've heard of several DOAs and failures with the eGVA one too (btw, I do know its the A1 model; I asked), but lots of people said they liked 'em too. On here, though, I always hear of folks using Asus boards, so thats why I asked.

Whoa...can't believe I let that slip through; I was in a hurry making that list before I had to head to work. Thanks for the heads up; I thought the list was longer than what I had been looking at.

So anyone have suggestions on which to get?

What about BFG & XFX boards? Any good?
    XFX MB-N680-ISH NF680i SLI
    BFG Technology BFGRNFI680iS NF680i SLI

Also 680i vs 650i the 650i will only SLI at x8.

I don't know anything about those two, and the computer maker I'm going through doesn't offer them anyways. But thatnks for clearing up the 680i/650i thing; i'd been wondering about that.

Re: Need help choosing a mobo

Apparently according to Anandtech the 8x vs 16x in Sli counts for about 1% difference.

That said I would go for a 680i anyway.

BFG, EVGA and XFX are all the same nvidia reference board.

Asus and Abit etc.. are their own boards.
