ECS RS480-M Bios upgrade from v1.0 to v1.2c, did not take, can anyone help?
Hello,
I did a bios upgrade on a ECS rs480-m from v1.0 to v1.2c, hoping to resolve a really bad lagging issue with writing/reading from a sata 275gig hd, as the bios completed sucessfully, I went to reboot, and I got a bunch of multi-colored lines with patches of solid colored "boxes" scattered across the monitor. I can tell that the computer is booting up, going into windows, etc, but I can't see it because of the lines and boxes. I do not understand why this board is not taking both bios updates provided by manufacturer. v1.2a and v1.2c. I did not have a problem flashing original bios back, but I am also facing another issue, where it takes forever to unarchive a file for example or for windows update to complete installing updates. No issues with downloading, but it's the whole installing and uninstalling. I hope I am making an understandable issure here. Can anyone help?
:help:
a thanks ahead

Did you make sure you are getting the correct bios for ythe revision issue number of your board. Ie there is usually ECS RS480-M rev 1.0 or ECS RS480-M rev 1.2 something like that
