Ok, bought a second hand IBM Thinkpad A22M from a local computer shop yesterday. I've only turned it on a few times, it was sitting on my desk doing nothing when the screen went black At first I thought flat battery so hooked up the adapter. The battery light comes on and starts to blink, this tells me (from a pdf I found on the net) that the battery is charging and there is enough power to turn it on . . . . . . but nothing.
Anyone suggestions as to what I can do? or what might have caused this?
The IBM site suggests that I remove the battery, but theres warranty stickers all over the back so I cant remove it I have a 30 day warranty on it, so I shall take it back in the morning.
EDIT: the battery light has stopped flickering so its fully charged
