memory overclocking

Hi,
I am going to build a computer very shortly using the following components;
Asus P5K
e6400
arctic cooling freezer 7 pro
8800 gts
hitachi 320gb
2x1gb OCZ special ops pc6400
dvd rewriter
antec nine hundered
OCZ dedicated memory cooling
microsoft vista home premium
antec neo he430w

I have just been wondering, seeing as i want to overclock the CPU to 3.4GHZ but my CPU only has a 7x multiplier and 7x400mhz= 2.8ghz. so how can i overclock any more if the RAM is already at 800MHZ??????
Any help on this matter will be very much appreciated and any tips on how to save money/ improve my system will be good as well.

I thought the E6400 had a default multiplier of 8?

So 8 * 266 = 2.13GHz which is default for e6400.

So, at 266 your memory will be at 533 MHz, so you've got loads of headroom for overclock - you could get to 3.2 GHz without overclocking your RAM at all.

That RAM will hit 900MHz without much fiddling, so that's a potential 3.6GHz

Don't be surprised though if you can't reach the 3.4GHz your after, or if the system is unstable if you do.
