Price check on a HP NC2400
I got this from my older brother a month ago. He has probably only had it for 4 months max as he managed to get a spanky new laptop from work. He thought it would have been good for me to use at uni but I am considering getting rid of it for something else.
Only comes with a power supply and a case however.
Specs are as follows
This laptop has the U2500 chip which is 1.20 GHz, the hard drive is a 60GB.
How much do you guys think I would get for it?
Difficult to say really. I mean they are about £1000 new and the only incentive you have to offer is a low price. £750 would be realistic considering it's still in warranty and what it goes for new.
It's a good business laptop so i'm sure someone will want it.
£750 doesn't sound too bad I guess. I was kind of hoping someone would say it could go for a bit more.
But your right it is basically a business laptop.
It depends entirely on whether the warranty is transferable or not. If it's not then that's a lot of the value wiped straight off it. I wouldn't want to be spending £750 without a foot to stand on if something goes wrong...
The warranty info (service tag) is stuck to the bottom somewhere and it isn't registered to the original purchaser as far as I know...maybe check with HP though.
It would be nice to sell it for more but if I could get a new one for ~£150 more then I wouldn't buy one used.
