Thanks Buff, but what moron decided to put another heatpipe on the IX38 quad gt looks like Ill have to get a heatsink for that and wait for the waterblock for the chipset to come out.

More previews over at Xtreme systems, now somebody shoot the guy who put those heat-pipes on the IX38 quad gt, it was bad enough water cooling the Quad gt but this is going to take the mic.
Actually I'm not that sure that it will.
1. the 2 greatest heat producing bits (nb & PWM) aren't linked on this mobo unlike on the AB9 QuadGT
2. the newer digital PWM used supposedly runs a lot cooler than the older version.
Yeh I see that now I was gettign confused about that bit going up by the ram as I thought it was attached to a componet that gave off heat, jus looks like Ill need a block for the northbridge and a new heatsink for the southbridge and Im hoping that Ill be able to use my current pwn blcok as the spacing looks the same.
